M. E. Silverman is the founder and editor. He is also the Managing Editor of Blue Lyra Review. He is the author of The Breath Before Birds Fly (ELJ Press, 2013). The Bloomsbury Anthology of Contemporary American Jewish Poetry (2013), which he co-edited with Deborah Ager, is available. Warning, Poems May Be Longer Than They Appear: An Anthology Of Long-ish Poems will soon be available from Lamar Press, which he co-edited with Andrew McFadyen-Ketchum. His poetry manuscript “The Last Jew” is currently looking for a publisher. Laura Hong is the current web editor. She has a bachelor’s degree in English literature at the University of California, Irvine, and has received her master’s degree in Communication with a concentration in Media and Public Relations at the University of the Pacific. Her recently completed thesis is entitled, “Twitter and the Comic Book Fan Community: Building Identities and Relationships in 140 Characters.” She is highly interested in how social media plays a role in community formation.
